Unsupervised Rock

Privacy policy

For Strata: Stone Puzzles and this website. Last updated 28 October 2026.

Unsupervised Rock ("we") makes Strata: Stone Puzzles ("Strata"). This page says what information Strata and this website collect, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

Strata today: nothing is collected

The current version of Strata has no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress (the stones you've uncovered, your gems and your settings) is stored only on your device, inside the app, and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is included in your device's own backup, as all app data is. Deleting Strata deletes it.

Strata does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or any identifier, and it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

When Strata shows ads

This section describes a future version of Strata. It does not apply to the version available now, which shows no ads. Before a version with ads is released, this policy and the app's privacy details in the App Store will be updated, and the app will ask for your consent where the law requires it.

A future version of Strata is planned to be free with ads, and to offer a purchase that removes them. When it does:

  • Who serves the ads. Ads will be served through AppLovin MAX, an advertising platform, which may pass the request to other advertising networks it works with (for example Google AdMob). These are third parties that collect data from your device to show ads, measure them, and prevent fraud.
  • What they may collect. Device and connection information (such as device model, operating system, IP address and coarse location derived from it), advertising identifiers (on iPhone, the IDFA, only if you allow tracking), information about the ads you see and tap, and diagnostic data.
  • Tracking and your choice. On iPhone, Strata will ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used to track you across apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads will still be shown, without that identifier, and the game works exactly the same. Nothing in the game depends on your answer. In regions that require it (such as the EEA and the UK), you will also be asked for consent through a consent form before personalised ads, and you can change your choice later from Strata's Settings.
  • Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access or delete data, to object to or opt out of personalised advertising, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by US state laws. You can exercise them by changing your choices in Strata's Settings and in your device's privacy settings, or by writing to us. Because we don't hold any of this data ourselves, we will pass your request to the networks concerned and help you reach them.
  • The networks' own policies. For more information about AppLovin's collection and use of your information visit: https://legal.applovin.com/privacy/. For how Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Purchases. A purchase to remove ads is handled by Apple. We receive no payment details.

Children

Strata is made for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. When ads arrive, ads will not be personalised for, and advertising SDKs will not be started for, users known to be children.
